Introduction

This Platform or our mobile application (“Makeit.io”) is set up by MakeIt Innovations, Inc. Anybody that views or uses this Platform should be aware of the following provisions.

By entering this Platform, and/or downloading our mobile application (“Makeit.io”), or using any of the information herein, you are agreeing to these provisions. These provisions shall constitute a binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, “customer”, “users”) and MakeIt Innovations, Inc. ("Company", “we”, “us”, or “our”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE PLATFORM AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE AND YOU SHOULD ALSO UNINSTALL OUR APP IMMEDIATELY. MakeIt reserves the right to amend or update these provisions at any time without notification, and such revised provisions have the same binding force.

Our privacy practices for the activities listed below are described in this privacy statement (the "Privacy Policy"). We provide you with information about how we collect, store, access, and otherwise use personal data about individuals in accordance with your rights. In this policy, "Personal Data" refers to any information that, taken alone or in conjunction with other pieces of information, can identify a specific person.


Our goals and our identity

This privacy Policy explains how MakeIt, its affiliates, and its international branches (collectively, "MakeIt,""us,""we," or "our") collect, use, and share information about you through our online interfaces (such as file sharing platforms and mobile applications) that we own and control, including but not limited to our mobile application (collectively referred to herein as the "Platform") . To understand what we do, please carefully read this Privacy Policy. Our Terms & Conditions also apply to your usage of our platform. In accordance with this Privacy Policy, MakeIt is the data controller of all Personal Data (as defined below) collected through the Platform and of some Personal Data obtained from third parties if you live or are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA").


What Information is Covered by This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the data we obtain about you through our Platform. While some of the functions and services on our Platform can be utilized without disclosing any personal information, these features and services are necessary for the file sharing services. You might be required to provide "Personal Data" (also known as information that can be used to identify you or "personal information") in order to use certain features and benefits on our Platform, or we could ask for it from you. Among other things, personal data can include details like your name, email address, IP address, and device identification. You are in charge of making sure that the Personal Data you give us is accurate. Where the Application expressly states that certain Data is not required, Users may choose not to provide the relevant Data without any consequences as to the availability or operation of the Service.
    • Updates.

      You might be able to subscribe to updates from Makeit.io via email or by posting on areas of the Platform that are only accessible to registered users. You might need to give us Personal Data, including your name and email address, in order to sign up for these Services.
    • Verification of Identity.

      For a few Services, Makeit.io might let you validate your identity. You might need to give us or our third-party identity verification vendor Personal Data including your name, address, date of birth, and a photo ID document in order to sign up for these Services.
    • Communications with MakeIt.

      When you email us or otherwise get in touch with us, we might get personal information from you.
    • Third-Party Platforms.

      When you use our Platforms to visit or log in to a third-party Platform, such as Facebook, we might get personal information about you. Place

Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and at any other locations where the parties involved in its processing are located.

Depending on the location of the User, data transfers may involve the transfer of User Data to a country outside of the User's own country. For more information about the place of processing of such transferred Data, Users may refer to the section that provides details of the processing of Personal Data.


Retention of Personally Identifiable Shelf life

Personal data must be processed and retained for as long as it is required for the purposes for which it was collected. Your Personal Data is only retained for as long as is required to fulfill the reasons for which it was collected and processed. The duration for which we keep personal data depends on its intended use and whether it's necessary to uphold, exercise, or defend our legal rights or to comply with legal obligations. The Owner may be permitted to retain Personal Data for a longer period of time if the User has consented to such processing until such consent is withdrawn.

Upon expiration of the retention period, the Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be exercised after the expiry of the retention period.


Security and Confidentiality of Personally Identifiable Information

Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy or unless such disclosure is required in particular circumstances, such as a physical threat to you or others, as permitted by applicable law, we will protect your Personal Data with industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative security measures. We will also not disclose it to third parties without your consent or except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy. We cannot guarantee the security of Personal Data since there is a small chance that an unauthorized third party will be able to get around our security measures or that your information will be intercepted during transmission over the Internet because it is not a completely secure environment. It is your duty to keep your login details secure. Please be aware that emails are frequently not encrypted and shouldn't be regarded as secure.

Analytics

The services described in this section enable the Owner to monitor and analyze web traffic and may be used to record User activity.

Information provided by customers

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google LLC ("Google"). Google uses the collected Data to capture and analyze user activity in order to report on the activities that the Application performs and then share it with other Google services. Google may use the collected Data to generate advertisements for its own advertising network based on the interests and preferences of the individual user. Personal Data Processed include, Network usage data and Cookies.


Payment processing

The Application uses payment processing services that allow you to process payments made through credit card, wire transfer, or other methods. To enhance security, the Application transmits only such information as is necessary for the financial intermediaries involved in processing the transaction. Some of these services may also provide the ability to send messages to the User at specified times, such as e-mails containing invoices or notices regarding payment.

Makeit.io has the ability to connect the two payment systems PayPal and Stripe. Connection of the payment system is only possible for registered users. If the payment system is connected successfully, the user receives payment for paid transfers directly to the account of the connected system. User has an opportunity to connect two payment systems at the same time, in this case the choice where to pay is up to the transfer recipient (payer).


Consumer Privacy Act of California

California residents have the right to know what personal information about them is collected, to have that information deleted, to choose not to have that information sold, and to be treated fairly if they choose to exercise any of these rights, according to the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"). None of the information that we collect about you is sold.


International Data Protection Laws

The majority of the servers used to run and manage our Platforms are situated in the US. Your Personal Data may be sent outside of the nation in which you reside or are located, including to the United States, in order to provide our Services to you. As a result, if you live or are based outside of the United States, your personal information may be transferred to other countries, including those that might not offer the same degree of security for your personal information. We are dedicated to maintaining the privacy and secrecy of Personal Data throughout transit. Children are generally not permitted to use the Platform, and we do not voluntarily collect any personal information from them. We consider anyone younger than 13 to be a "child." If we discover that we have obtained a child's personal information without getting permission from the child's parent or legal guardian, we will delete it.
